The Future of The Torrens Learning Center

​

Currently the TLC is located in the future ITM (Kirotshe Medical School). For the future of the TLC, we would like to see:

​

  • A building construction with enough space for as many as 50,000 books and 100 computers

  • Having access to the internet will make a huge difference

  • Having reliable electricity. We currently have a generator but it uses a lot of fuel. We are hoping for solar panels in the future or some other way to for reliable electricity.

  • Partner with libraries from USA and have ways to share informations between the libraries

  • Having different program through technology and other learning resources to better serve the students of Kirotshe and the surrounding areas.

  • Have all the resources necessary for elevating the education level in Kirotshe and the surrounding areas.

  • Be a tool to promote peace, community building and empowering lives for the better
